Hospital is seeking a Physician to join the Cardiothoracic surgery team. The role involves Night call and weekend coverage.
Job Details:
- Practice setting: Hospital-Based
- Start date: ASAP
- Trauma Level: Level I
- OR Availability: 2 dedicated CV Surgery ORs (daytime)
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Population: Adult
- Average Volume: ~1 case per weekend
??Schedule and Call
- Preferred Schedule: Friday evening until Monday morning
- Additional Coverage: 1 week of call per month
- Call Ratio: Open to options
Required Procedures:
- Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery, CABG, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy, Lung Resection, Pneumonectomy), Thoracotomy Decortication, and Mediastinal Surgery.
*Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

All must be notated in the name of name clear:
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic - [REQUIRED]
- Active MI licenses - [REQUIRED] will accept willing to obtain.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification - [REQUIRED]
- Clean Malpractice & License History: [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Copy of the NPDB, self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - [REQUIRED]
