Locum Urologist - Surgical Focus with DaVinci Robot Experience (Maryland License Required)
Schedule:
- Surgery: 4 days per week, starting at 7:30 AM and running until completion or 5:30 PM (whichever comes first).
- Call: 6 call shifts per month (4 weekday nights and 2 weekend 24-hour shifts each).
- Minimum Availability: Must have availability for at least 3 days per week in addition to the required call shifts.
Important Considerations for Candidates:
- DaVinci Robot Experience is REQUIRED. Please clearly state your DaVinci Robot experience in your application.
- Minimum 3 Days Availability + Call: Candidates must be available for a minimum of 3 surgical days per week, in addition to the 6 call shifts per month.
- Active Maryland License REQUIRED: You must possess an active Maryland medical license to be considered.
- Drive Candidates Only: Only candidates who can drive to the location will be considered. Please note your ability to drive to the location in your application.
About the Opportunity:
Hospital in Maryland is seeking a Urologist with required DaVinci Robot experience for locum coverage. This opportunity focuses solely on surgical work with no pre- or post-operative orders or consultations. The schedule involves 4 surgical days per week, starting early, along with a defined monthly call commitment. We are seeking candidates who can drive to the location and possess an active Maryland medical license.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing urological surgeries utilizing the DaVinci Robotic Surgical System.
- Performing a range of general urological surgical procedures.
- Providing on-call coverage as per the schedule (4 weekday nights and 2 weekend 24-hour shifts per month).
- Collaborating effectively with surgical staff.
Required:
- DaVinci Robot experience.
- Availability for a minimum of 3 surgical days per week plus 6 call shifts per month.
- Active Maryland medical license.
- Ability to drive to the location.
Not Responsible For:
- Pre-operative orders.
- Post-operative orders.
- Consultations (inpatient or outpatient).
- Clinic work (all surgical focus).
Call Schedule: 6 call shifts per month (4 weekday nights, 2 weekend 24-hour).
Surgery Schedule: 4 days per week, 7:30 AM until complete or 5:30 PM.
