Hematology Oncology Locum Opportunity in Maryland

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology Oncology Physician to join our team for ongoing comprehensive coverage. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and call responsibilities, supported by an inpatient APP. - $500/hr

Start Date: October 6, 2025 - Ongoing

Schedule:

• Clinic Coverage: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Call Coverage:
• Night Call: Included on your designated weekday for new inpatient consults.
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call every 4th weekend.

Submission Requirements:

• Licensure: Active Missouri Medical License.
• Controlled Substances: Active Missouri BNDD & DEA registrations.
• EMR Experience: Proficiency and experience with the Epic EMR System (including Beacon).
• Demonstrated experience in managing a full spectrum of hematology and oncology cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with the APP and other care team members.
• Must commit to a min of 4 days a month

Coverage Need Details:

• Site seeking one provider to cover; will not accept multiple locums for the opportunity.

• 4 shifts weekly clinic M-TH 8:30-4:30

* One weekday inpatient consult and night call coverage

• Inpatient consult support rounding on admitted patients.

Position Details:

• Inpatient Responsibilities:
• Monday - Friday: Responsible for covering your own inpatients admitted for oncology reasons.
• One Weekday per Week: Dedicated to covering new inpatient consults and night call.
• Inpatient APP Support: Benefit from the support of an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP) during normal working hours.
• Rounding: Provide inpatient consult support by rounding on admitted patients.
• Must have active MD license or IMLC
• Minimum of 4 days per week with one weeknight call along with one weekend call per month.
