Urology Locum Opportunity in Kentucky

Hospital is looking for locum Urology coverage starting 2026!

Facility in Paducah, KY employs 1 physician and 2 nurse practitioners. The NPs do not provide inpatient support. The team is looking for someone to cover the call schedule for urology 2 – 3 weekends per month in order to provide relief to our employed physicians who covers the remainder of the time. This physician would be on call, take consults, round on any patients on urology service, and perform any necessary procedures/surgeries. The employed physician does not currently perform any procedures robotically, but they do have 3 robots and are confident they could accommodate a urologist with that skillset, if needed. 

The team is willing to accept locum to perm!

Job Details:

• Reason for Coverage: Additional physician needed to provide inpatient coverage 
• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
• Dates of Coverage: 1-2 weekends per month (Thurs or Fri AM - Monday AM) 
• No other urologists onsite during assignment
• Number of Urologists in Group: 1 MD provides inpatient support, 2 APRNs are ambulatory/clinic based only
• Labs & X-rays onsite

Required Procedures:

• General Urology
• Advanced Endoscopic Techniques
• Ureteroscopy
• Laser Certification

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days, temp privs available

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - [REQUIRED]
