Advanced Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in Kentucky

We are seeking a Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for a long-term, inpatient call-only assignment in Kentucky. This role bypasses routine outpatient clinic management and office follow-ups, focusing strictly on acute gastrointestinal consults and emergency stabilization.

Clinical Details & Schedule

• Format: 24-Hour Emergency/Inpatient Call Coverage.
• Scope of Practice: Inpatient consultative services, acute GI bleeds, ER evaluations, and standard emergent endoscopic procedures (e.g., EGD, Colonoscopies).
• EMR: MediTech.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY) Medical License.
• Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.
• Life Support: Active BLS certification.
• Onboarding Speed: Ability to collaborate immediately with credentialing specialists to hit the expedited 45-day hospital board window.
