Hospital is in search of a Part Time ENT (MD/DO) provider for Locum Tenens due to a Provider Retiring.
We are looking for a provider to start January 2026 with a 6 month commitment.
Shifts available:
• M-F 8-hour day shift (clinic, OR as needed), with
• Call after day shift may be from the ER or Group/Clinic.
• Call back will apply after 8-hour day shift when called back onsite.
• Time in the OR one day per week may be added in the future with 4 days clinic.
We prefer one locum for ongoing patient continuity of care to work either:
• 2 weeks in a row, including the weekend between, or
• 2 weeks per month Monday to Sunday.
• 14 Shifts per month
• 6 month commitment

Locum will take call from the ER and Group/Clinic Call during their weeks per day. Call back would occur after then 8-hour day shift (M-F) if called to the hospital for intake or emergencies. In some cases, the Locum may have to leave the clinic to see a patient/consult in the ER, during the day shift. The clinic should be supported then by support staff or patients rescheduled.

- MD/DO- either accepted
- KY or Compact License in hand preferred or date KY license we applied for
- BC/ BE- Otolaryngology
- Fellowship: Otolaryngology
- Epic Experience Preferred
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, DEA Certificate
- Clinic Procedures to include: earwax removal, hearing tests, septoplasty for deviated septums, turbinate reduction, ear tube placement (grommets), endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and biopsies of lesions. Laryngoscopy
- Case Logs: must be able to provide case logs that demonstrate current competence and evidence of fifty (50) otolaryngologic surgery procedures, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, during the last 12 months, or
- successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency or clinical fellowship within the past 12 months
Hospital/OR procedures include tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy (removal of tonsils and adenoids), ear tube placement, and endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis

More complete procedures may be performed under emergency situations in the Hospital.

- Setting: Clinic, hospital, OR, call, call back
- New patient volume per day: 14-15
- Once established daily volume could be 20 patients per day.
- Night call starts when the clinic closes at 4:30 and ends as the Clinic opens at 8:30 am.
- Night call will cover clinic call or ER call.
- Call back after hours to a hospital is rare.
The locum may be needed in the OR in the hospital and will require privileges for Hospital.
Clinic Details
- Rooms in Clinic: 3 exam rooms, 1 procedure room and 1 combo room- a total of 5.
- Is there OP surgery centers included? Yes in the procedure room.
- Procedures per day: It depends on the patient, based on triage and care needed. (new patients per day is 4-15)
- Clinic location to the hospital:15 minute car ride from the clinic.
- If call- how many calls expected at night: Minimal- usually doesn’t require returning to the clinic/hospital.
