We are seeking a Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, ongoing inpatient assignment in Indiana. This role features a highly structured 14 days on, 14 days off block rotation. Because the facility is prioritizing immediate continuity and requires regional accessibility, this opportunity is strictly open to local or drive-in candidates only.
?Clinical Schedule & Block Breakdown
- Rotation Pattern: 14 consecutive days on, followed by 14 days off.
- The rotation strictly begins on a Monday and concludes on a Sunday.
- Daily Shift Structure: Typically 8-hour daytime shifts beginning at 8:00 AM (daily hours may vary slightly based on patient volume).
- Weekend Call Profile: The scheduled provider handles weekend afternoon/evening (PM) call on both weekends falling within their 14-day rotation. Weekend on-site hours run from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
- Call Scope: Call obligations are exclusively required during your active 14-day on-rotation; no off-turn pager responsibilities.
Facility Overview & Support Structure
- Facility Size: 48-bed licensed inpatient behavioral health facility treating general adult psychiatric conditions.
- Physician Footprint: The hospital utilizes 2 dedicated psychiatrists who alternate the 14-day blocks. You will be the sole attending psychiatrist on-site during your active rotation.
- Ancillary Support: Excellent clinical infrastructure featuring 2 full-time Inpatient Nurse Practitioners (NPs) alongside additional PRN NP support as needed.
- Tech Stack / EMR: HCS for Orders, Fluency Flex for Notes, Medik, and Onbase.
Requirements
- Licensure: Active Indiana (IN) Medical License.
- Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in General Adult Psychiatry.
- Logistics: Must be local or within reasonable driving distance (no flights/corporate long-distance travel budgets allocated).
