Radiology Locum Opportunity in Illinois

We are seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Breast Radiologist for an ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity focused entirely on 100% mammography coverage in Illinois.

• Specialty: Breast Radiology
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Clinic Only (On-site)
• Call/Holidays: No Holidays or Call Required

Schedule & Scope of Work

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.
• Case Mix: 100% Mammography (screening and diagnostic).
• Required Procedures: The provider must be proficient in all breast procedures, including:
• Needle localizations (Needle locs)
• Biopsies (ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, etc.)
• Volume Expectation: 44 RVUs per shift.
• Annual Volume: Approximately 2,640 procedures annually.

Requirements & Logistics

• Required Training: Breast Fellowship completion.
• Required Certification: MQSA certification is mandatory.
• Certification: Board Certified (BC).
• License: Active Illinois (IL) License required.
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days
• Privileging: Emergency Privileges are Available.
