Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist for ongoing 7-day monthly call coverage blocks in Springfield, IL. The facility prefers one primary physician to commit to one week per month, but will consider split coverage between multiple physicians.
- Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) State Medical License required.
- Certifications: Active ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
- EHR System: EPIC.
- Work-Life Balance: Pure hospital call coverage with zero outpatient clinic responsibilities.
- Submission Deliverables: Submissions must include candidate availability from the target list, completed risk questions, NPDB authorization form, and candidate phone interview availability.
Clinical Scope & Workload
- Setting: Hospital-based EP call coverage supporting emergent EP procedures, inpatient EP consultations, device checks, and urgent EP lab interventions.
- Patient Volume: Fluctuates based on hospital census and daily acute EP service demand.
