We are seeking a Board Eligible General Cardiologist for a multi-month, full-time outpatient assignment in Georgia. This role provides an excellent work-life balance with standard daytime hours, free weekends, and absolutely zero hospital call or inpatient rounding responsibilities.
??Clinical Schedule & Practice Scope
- Work Week: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Clinical Focus: 100% Outpatient Clinic. No hospital admissions or rounding.
- Core Diagnostic Duties: In addition to standard patient consultations, the provider will be responsible for interpreting and reading EKGs and Holter Monitors.
- Experience Requirement: Prior dedicated Cardiology experience is strictly required.
Mandatory Epic Onboarding Protocol
- Onsite Training: The facility hosts a formal, required Epic EMR training session every other week from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Prerequisite: This training can only be scheduled after the 30-day credentialing process is completely finalized.
- Launch Rule: Training must be fully completed before the provider is permitted to see their first clinic patient.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Licensure & DEA: Active Georgia (GA) Medical License and an Active Georgia DEA registration are mandatory in hand.
- Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
