Locum Radiology Physician Assistant (Onsite)

??Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Radiology Physician Assistant to provide onsite locum coverage from August 1st through December 31st, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to work within our IR department, performing a range of procedures in a clinic-only setting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing a variety of Radiology procedures, including:
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies (US bx)
• Port placements
• Thoracentesis (thora's)
• Paracentesis (para's)
• Assisting IR physicians with other procedures as needed.
• Conducting patient evaluations and consultations related to IR procedures.
• Providing pre- and post-procedure patient education and care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records utilizing the RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0 for documentation.
• Collaborating effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other interventional radiology team members.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and established clinical guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Physician Assistant (PA) certification.
• Active and unrestricted PA license in FL.
• Experience performing the listed Interventional Radiology procedures (US bx, ports, thora's, para's) independently.
• Familiarity with the RPCE Tech Stack for workflow and documentation.
• Proficiency in using Powerscribe 4.0 for dictation and reporting.

Call Responsibilities: No call coverage is required for this clinic-only position.
