Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Florida

Position: Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO)

Duration: 26 weeks

Location: Ocala, FL

Start Date: January 1, 2026

Schedule: 5 standard, 8-hour night shifts per week, with no on-call duties

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities:

Oversee the care of hospitalized patients from admission to discharge.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists.

Conduct daily rounds and document care in the EMR.

Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical intervention.

Assist with discharge planning.

Requirements:

Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Active, unrestricted Wyoming medical license.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
