Neuro Interventionalist Locum Opportunity in Connecticut

Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Neurointerventionalist Locum to start ASAP on September 10th for an immediate need. Details are listed below

• Dates of Coverage: Sept 10- Sept 15
• Schedule: 100% Inpatient-/ED Coverage/inpt consults/ /Call 24:7
• Call Ratio: solo
• Average Amount of Call Back Hours: 2 hours per day 
• Reason for Coverage: Vacations
• Practice Setting(s): Inpatient/Hospital-Based

• Temp Privileges are available within needed timeline.
• Patient Population: Adult and Geri only
• % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% inpt
• Average # of Patients Per Day: 5-10
• Trauma Level Designation: Level One Trauma/thrombectomy capable stroke center
• Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: Inpt and ED consult on neurovascular pts/stroke thrombectomy/aneurysm embolization/DX DCA/Carotid Stenting/ Head and Neck Embolization for trauma.
• EMR/Documentation: Epic

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified or BE within 5 years of residency -  [REQUIRED] - Neurosurgery or Neurologist or Neuroradiology 
• CT license in hand at the time of submission - NO exceptions - [REQUIRED] 
• DEA, CSR, BLS, ACLS - [REQUIRED]
• Fellowship - [REQUIRED]
