Description

Hospital is looking to add 2 additional Locums to their Neuroendovascular team! 


**Provider must be able to do Open Cerebrovascular and Neuroendovascular coverage**



Open Dates:

  • August 4 (7a) - August 8 (7a) 
  • August 15 (7a) - August 21 (7a)
  • All of October - December is open
  • Ongoing coverage will be 10-11 days per month



Details:

  • Provider MUST be available to cover the open August dates above.
  • Schedule: 24 hour call shifts (7AM - 7AM)
  • Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities. 
  • Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient. 
  • Heavy surgical emphasis
  • Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist. 
  • Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
  • 100% adult
  • 50% trauma
  • 100% inpatient
  • 0-5 hospital based patients per day
  • Support Staff: Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
  • Surgery volume expected while on call? Average number of patients or hours? This varies at a given time. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab. 
  • EMR: Epic
  • ~90 day credentialing timeframe
  • See PD for required procedures



Submission Requirements

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE NOTED AT THE TIME OF NAME CLEAR IN THE ADDITIONAL SUBMISSION DETAILS TO AVOID BEING REDIRECTED!!


  • Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES - REQUIRED
  • Active CO license or IMLC - REQUIRED
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COVER THE OPEN DATES LISTED - REQUIRED 
  • ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), DEA - REQUIRED
  • Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient. - REQUIRED TO NOTE
  • Must indicate that the provider is aware and comfortable with a Heavy surgical emphasis - REQUIRED TO NOTE

COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED
