Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Colorado

SCHEDULE :24hr shifts (Inpatient and telestroke 6a-6p) (night call 6p-6a) 

Description : Facility is in need of a Locum Neuro Hospitalist as soon as credentialed.  

Details:

• 24hr shifts (Inpatient and telestroke 6a-6p) (night call 6p-6a) 
• 12-15 total shifts per month ASAC.
• 100% Adult patients.
• 100% Inpatient. 
• 5 Physicians in practice, 0 Mid-levels.
• 45 Total ICU Beds, 1-3 Trauma Level, 12 Rehab beds
• 15 patients per day
• Full hospital staffing, including stroke team - primary stroke center. 
• Lab & X-ray onsite. 
• Other neurologists will be present during coverage, and no supervising/teaching services. 
• Consultative services not represented: neurointensivist for thrombectomy stroke. 
• Transfers to Anschutz (Denver) through our docline. 
• Locums will cover 3 hospitals: 
• EMR: Epic

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified Neurology - [REQUIRED]
• Active CO license - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] - will consider Active IMLC with LOQ
• Must have Stroke telemedicine (telestroke) experience - [REQUIRED] note at name clear
• Must indicate day and night availability - [REQUIRED] note at name clear.
• Clean malpractice and background - [REQUIRED]
• BLS - [REQUIRED] need to obtain before starting
• COVID vaccine - [REQUIRED] note at time of name clear
