Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity in Colorado

To be eligible to request these privileges, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

 MD or DO licensed by the Colorado Medical Board

Completion of additional training as follows:

§  Completion of an approved residency-training program in anesthesiology.

§  Board certified in the above specialty.

§  Board eligible in the above specialty and must become board certified within five years of eligibility.

Be able to secure clinical references.

Minimum criteria of five (5) anesthesia procedures within the last 2 (two) years. This can be fulfilled from any hospital affiliations that have a quality assurance program.

Have the following past experience:

• Management of procedures for rendering a patient insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgical, obstetrical and certain medical procedures
•  Support of life functions under the stress of anesthetic and surgical manipulations
• Clinical management of the unconscious patient from any cause
•  Management of problem pain relief
•  Management of problems in cardiac and respiratory resuscitation
• Application of specific methods of respiratory therapy
• Clinical management of various fluid, electrolyte and metabolic disturbances
