Physical Medicine and Rehab Locum Opportunity in California

LOCUM- PM&R 

Looking for one provider for coverage. PLEASE NOTE THESE DATES ARE CONTINGENT ON PRIVILEGING. Clean files preferred to push providers through faster. 

We need coverage for the week of:

• Dec 22-28th - 8a-5p
• And then occasionally through 2026.

Shift times are 8am-5pm. 

• Guaranteed Hours: 8 
• OT applies after: 10 hours worked 
• Must take 1 hour lunch 
• OT Policy: Overtime must be pre-approved by Providence medical group prior to end of shift

Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours.

O Typical privileging timeline is 90 days  

O ll HBS specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.

O Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.

O Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties. 

Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement):

• NOT reimbursed:

             O Mileage from provider’s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.

             O Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider’s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.

• WILL be reimbursed:

             O Airport parking at provider’s departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport.
