Pediatrics Locum Opportunity in California

IMPORTANT: URGENT as provider backed out of the assignment. Start date will be as soon as confirmed and put through the payor credentialing process. Tentative start listed as 4/27. We prefer local candidates but need to understand what travel will be required if not. Ensure they are proficient with EPIC or EMR experience in general and indicate in this section as well. Please start to gather these so we can get the provider started asap. 

JOB DETAILS/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTATION: We are looking for one provider to cover a full time need at our facility- Pediatrics location. Provider will not need privileges so they can start once access is set up. Physician must be available to work 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month (Monday- Friday). Scheduled hours will be 8am-5pm each day, provider may take a lunch when they see fit in those hours. No call just clinic. The patient count per day is an average of 25 patients but it could fluctuate. so they do schedule to account for if a patient does not make their appointment. We would look at candidates that are interested in locums to perm as well. If the provider and clinic find it to be a mutual fit they will look to make the transition. High Desert Demographic: o High demand clinic, socioeconomic challenged community. 

REQUIRED: Active CA license and CA DEA Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency BLS certification 

Preferred/Bonus: Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking)
