Infectious Disease Locum Opportunity in California

Locums | Telemedicine Infectious Disease Various Sites (CA Preferred, OR and WA secondary) PROVIDER MUST HAVE A CLEAN FILE - Clean files must include a clean NPDB, clean malpractice (dismissed and dropped cases as well), and a clean background check. Please read the additional details section below. 

SCHEDULE : 

• Coverage Type: Inpatient (telemedicine) 

• Schedule Type: Hospital only 

• Call Type: N/A 

• Dates of Need: 9/1/2026-12/31/2026 

• Shift Times: 8am-4pm PST • Lunch N/A 

• Provider Min # Shifts Required: 5-7 per month (will be gap coverage) 

• Guaranteed Hours per Day: 8 • Hours Worked for OT to apply: 8 per day 

CREDENTIALING:

• License: Active 

• DEA Required: Yes 

• Boards: BC only 

• Skills/Certs: 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Preference is to find a candidate who holds WA, CA and OR licenses and active DEAs in all states. We have a need for virtual coverage at these locations as well: Hospital (Hood River, OR), Hospital (Milwaukie, OR), Medical Center (Newberg, OR), Hospital (Seaside, OR), Medical Center (Oregon City, OR), Hospital (Centralia, WA) We will prioritize CA as we know it will be hard to find someone licensed in all three. Provider will be mailed all equipment they need. Onboarding will take about 1-2 weeks. Ideally need a provider who has tech experience and is familiar with working virtually. Please include the providers availability for the next 2 weeks in the presentation for a phone interview. The medical director will be conducting the interviews.
