??Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a 6-month locum tenens coverage opportunity in California.
- Licensure: Active California (CA) State Medical License and active DEA required prior to start.
- Certifications: Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Med-Peds, or Family Medicine; BLS.
- EHR System: EPIC.
- Work-Life Balance: Predictable Monday through Friday daytime schedule with no night or weekend call responsibilities. Charting expected to be closed within 72 hours.
- Commitment & Decision Window: Fast-turnaround review process with hiring decisions typically made within 7–14 days. 30-day notice requirement for assignment termination.
Clinical Scope & Workload
- Patient Volume: 18 patients per day (PPD).
- Patient Demographic: Mixed patient population (Adults & Pediatrics).
- CV Formatting Requirement: Candidate CVs must include specific month and year for all employment history, with all gaps in employment clearly accounted for to satisfy health system credentialing standards.
Required Credentialing Immunizations
To ensure a smooth onboarding process, candidates must provide documentation for the following prior to start:
- Flu Vaccine: (Most recent season)
- TB Status / X-Ray: Results must be dated within 90 days of start date
- MMR: Positive Titer or complete immunization series
- Hepatitis B: Positive Titer or complete immunization series
- Varicella Zoster: Positive Titer or complete immunization series
- Tdap: Documentation within the past 10 years
