ENT/Otolaryngology Locum Opportunity in California

Hospital ENT clinic is looking for a full time locum for 3 months. Details below! 

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Start: As soon as credentialed for 3 months. 
• Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 
• Frequency: Monday - Friday 

Assignment: The assignment is to work 5 days a week. This is a general/comprehensive otolaryngology position within a large multispecialty group. There are two full time ENT's currently in the group at other sites. The primary duty is to see patients in the ENT clinic with the option to perform bread-and-butter ENT surgeries for those patients, or to refer to the ENTs for surgery if desired.  NO CALL obligation but if interested there are opportunities for paid hospital call including trauma call. 

Setting: Outpatient clinic associated with community hospital

FTE: 1.0

# Providers Needed: 1

Required Procedures: REQUIRED: Flexible laryngoscopy, sinus endoscopy, cerumen removal, otomicroscopy, diagnostic biopsies throughout head and neck. Optional: Comprehensive otolaryngology surgical capabilities. 

EMR: Cerner Powerchart

Patients per Day: 25-30

Support Staff: 1 full time MA and 1 surgery scheduler

Credentialing Information:

Timeframe: 2-3 months could possibly do temp privileges. Must have a clean MP to be considered for temp. 

Submission Requirements

**MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS**

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• Active CA license - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice - strongly preferred for temp privileges
