We are seeking a Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for urgent shift coverage in California.

- Coverage Type: Shift Coverage / Clinical Only (No Call)
- EMR: Epic
- Facility Volume: Averages 110 patients per 24 hours.
- Shift Structures: Guaranteed 8 hours per shift. Overtime applies after 12 hours (must be pre-approved by the Medical Director).

- August 1: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM) & 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (SJE)
- August 2: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM) & 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (SJE)
- August 3: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM)
- August 7: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (SJE)
- August 9: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM)
- August 10: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM)
- August 11: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM) & 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (SJE)
- August 12: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM)
- August 15: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (SJE)
- August 20: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (SJE)
- August 21: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (SJE)
- August 22: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (SJE PM)
- Note: August 1 also features an RMH PM shift.
Strict Candidate Requirements
The facility has a rigid credentialing standard and can only review completely clean files for temporary privileges.
- Board Status: ABEM or ABEOM Board Eligible (BE) within 5 years of residency. ABIM and ABFM certifications are not accepted.
- Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted California (CA) medical license.
- Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
- Background: Clean record only. Candidates with large settlements, NPDB marks, DUIs/substance history, practice restrictions, facility terminations, or Medical Board actions are ineligible.
Submission Requirements
To present a provider for a name clear, the following items must be submitted:
- RFA & Detailed CV: Must include the last 24 months of relevant clinical activity.
- Completed Application: To be completed following the initial review.
Credentialing Timeline
- Process Duration: 90 Days (Temporary/expedited privileges are utilized for clean files to meet the August 1 start date).
