Cardiovascular Surgery Locum Opportunity in California

LOCUM - Cardiovascular APP 

Please ensure all bids reflect the following: 

    - Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day

    - OT applies after 8 hours per day 

We are looking for one full time provider to work 8 hours a day/ 5 days a week. NO OT is expected. Please seek preapproval for any OT with the medical director. 

Potential for weekend call (12 or 24 hour). 

OR experience, endoscopic vein harvesting required.

ACTIVE CA License and ACTIVE CA DEA required. 

Must have cardiovascular experience. Any PAs must be certified (PA-C). 

*Preferred PA with General Surgery/OR experience and flexible. PA could take time in OR if schedule allows.* 

Please note that privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours.

Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement):

• NOT reimbursed:

o Mileage from provider’s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.

o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider’s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.

• WILL be reimbursed:

o Airport parking at provider’s departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport.

o Insurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved, prior to booking, otherwise it will not be reimbursed.

o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital/clinic, and return trips.
