Description : LOCUM- Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery *CLEAN FILES PREFERRED, We are looking for 2 providers to cover a full time need starting as soon as possible. Coverage is mainly needed to be back up urgent cases. Right now the expectation would be that the provider is on 24hr call (would not need to be onsite) almost every day of the week. It can be split between two providers. We would need one provider onsite Wednesdays to be in clinic each week (7am-3pm). Please ensure the bids reflect the below: - Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day - OT to apply 8 hours per day Noting this is only for clinic days all other shifts will be 24hr call with 3 hours of patient contact included. Coverage will need to start May 1st or as soon as granted temporary privileges (with a clean file) in May. EMCO canulation and management will be required procedures. Active CA license and CA DEA Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency) Privileging: Privileges are required. They must have no malpractice and clean NPDB in order to be considered for temp privileges. Please ensure on the bid you are transparent as possible on possible red flags for the provider. If the providers does not have a clean background, then the privileging process will take 60-90 days pushing the start date out. Ensure this expectation is set with your providers.
