Urology Locum Opportunity in Arizona

We are urgently seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Urologist for an immediate and ongoing Locum Tenens assignment at Hospital, focusing on a procedural schedule with no call requirement.

• Call Requirement: No Call Coverage
• EMR: UHS Cerner
• License: Active Arizona (AZ) License or IMLC eligibility/license.
• Credentialing Timeline: ASAP (Immediate Privileging)

Schedule & Scope of Work

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes an unpaid 1-hour lunch).
• Work Split: The role requires a schedule split between:
• 2 days per week in Clinic.
• 3 days per week performing Surgery (OR).
• Ideal Candidate: Must be a strong proceduralist with an active Arizona license and a clean history.
• Support: The clinic is supported by a high functioning, very experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP).

Requirements & Administrative Notes

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) is required.
• Overtime: Overtime is considered hours over 40 hours and must be pre-approved by a manager or designee.
• Documentation for OT/Callback:
• Physicians are required to provide supporting notes on timesheet entries to verify Call Back (patient contact hours) and Overtime hours.
• Physicians must document the specific reason for the call back with a description that can be validated in the electronic health record if an audit is performed.
