Urology Locum Opportunity in Arizona

The clinic is looking for an experienced locum to help with the clinic and calls.  An ideal candidate is a strong proceduralist with an active Arizona license and a clean history. 

The clinic has a high-functioning, very experienced APP to support the provider.  

Schedule 8-5 with an unpaid hour lunch M-F in the clinic and procedure room with night call

An ideal structure would be for a day to include time for clinic and OP procedures, with a nighttime pager call with CB and some flexibility for potential weekend PRN.   

*Physicians are required to provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify Call Back hours (patient contact hours) and Overtime hours submitted and associated with the acceptable occurrences mentioned above.

*Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the callback, and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record.

*Overtime hours must be pre-approved by a manager or designee.  Overtime is considered hours over 40 hours.

*Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on-site callback

* Call-back time does NOT include travel time to or from where they are being housed when responding to a hospital request.

 *Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support (this means Market should not be charged for callback hours if a physician decides they want to stay in the hospital, but there is not the need for him/her to be there based on the criteria contained herein)
