• Average surgeries per day: 6 (trauma, not elective)
• Number of beds: 317
• EMR: Cerner
• Patient Demographics: 100% Trauma, 100% adult
• Other: Level I Trauma, this department is BUSY!

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Must be BC or BE in Neurosurgery
• License Required: active AZ License required, will look at IMLC
• DEA: Yes, registered in AZ
• CSR: No
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Minimum Experience Required:
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days

• What enabling technology is available? Operative microscope, cranial AND spinal navigation (e.g. Brainlab/Stealth), robotics, etc.?  
• We have 2 O-arm platforms. Also, stealth is available for cranial navigation. There are 4 modern microscopes (Zeiss and Leica)

• Who manages postop care and ensures adequate follow-up? 
• All neurosurgery patients are either admitted to the trauma service or hospitalist service. There is 24/7 neurosurgery PA support that will follow post-ops and ensure f/u in Neurosurgery clinic.
