Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Arizona

• 06/15 (Mo) – Early Swing
• 07/03 (Fr) – Early Swing
• 07/03 (Fr) – Swing 4p-4a
• 07/05 (Su) – Early Swing

Work Details:

• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: varies
• Patients per day: 20-30 (as a collective service)
• Patient Population/Age: all ages
• Department Description: Closed ICU. Admissions need to be accepted by the intensivist on duty
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital Bed size: 270 beds
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Admit strictly does hospital admissions, Swing also does admissions, Nights do admissions/cross covers (there are 2 docs on from 6p-6a each night). During the hours 6p -6a the Swing physician and night doc also cross cover the patients that are in the hospital, with the exception of ICU.
• Extra info - Admit is 6a-6p strictly does hospital admissions, Swing 4p-4a also does admissions, Nights 6p-6a does admissions/cross covers (there are 2 docs on from 6p-6a each night).
• During the hours 6p -6a the Swing physician and night doc also cross cover the patients that are in the hospital, with the exception of ICU. Early Swing is 10a-10p

• Board Certification: must be BE or BC in Internal or Family Medicine
• License Required: AZ license required (or IMLC LOQ in hand)
• DEA: required
• Certifications Preferred:
• Certifications Required: ACLS
• Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
