We are seeking a qualified Pediatrician to provide recurring weekend pager call coverage for a local pediatric practice in Alabama. This role focuses strictly on newborn hospital care and stabilization following births, with no Emergency Room or Operating Room call responsibilities.

- End Date: September 8, 2026 (Ongoing potential for one weekend per month plus select holidays)
- Coverage Type: Call Only (Off-site Pager Call)
- Shift Times: Shift is from 6a - 6a starting on September 4 and ending on September 8.
Clinical Scope & Facility Details
- Primary Scope: Newborn coverage following births only. Very low admission volume.
- Volume: Facility averages 700–800 births per year (~2 newborns per day).
- Nursery & Care Level: Level I Nursery (No NICU on-site).
- Duties: Care of well newborns and stabilization of infants requiring higher-level care prior to transport.
- Exclusions: No ER call, no OR call-back, no ventilator management, and no ECMO required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Alabama (AL) medical license or active eligibility via (IMLC).
- Required Certifications: * NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS
