We are seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Pediatric Neurologist for a hybrid (in-person and virtual) full-time locum tenens assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The facility is open to a single full-time provider or two providers working in tandem to establish consistent, continuous coverage.
?Position Overview
- Specialty: Pediatric Neurology
- Start Date: October 1, 2026 (Or as soon as credentialed)
- End Date: August 1, 2027
- Availability Required: Full-Time (4 weeks per month)
- Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week (OT applies after 40 hours/week)
Monthly Schedule & Coverage Structure
To maintain optimal continuity of care, the ideal candidate(s) will handle both the in-person and remote blocks:
- Weeks 1 & 2 (In-Person Clinic & Call): On-site outpatient clinic (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) plus weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend hospital call coverage.
- Weeks 3 & 4 (Virtual Hospital Call): Off-site/remote 24-hour virtual call coverage (no on-site presence required).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) only
- Licensure: Open. The facility will consider candidates willing to obtain a temporary Alaska state license or an AK Locums License while full permanent licensure is actively in process.
- Certifications/Credentials: Active DEA and BLS
