?Position Highlights & Requirements

We are seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our ongoing locum pool supporting regional health systems in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. Primary coverage will be at Hospital, with optional shifts at two nearby critical access facilities within a 30-minute radius.

  • Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) State Medical License or active IMLC required. (Local/Midwest-based providers strongly preferred for seasonal travel ease).
  • Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine, active ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS.
  • EHR System: EPIC.
  • Clean Background File: Required for rapid temporary privileging (clean NPDB report).


Facility & Department Overview

  • Annual ED Volume: ~15,000+ visits per year.
  • Admission Rate: ~20% admission rate.
  • Coverage Model: Primarily single physician coverage with shift overlap and double coverage provided by 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
