Position: Locum Tenens Trauma / Acute Care Surgeon
Location: Richland, WA
EMR: Epic
Start Date: November 1, 2026 – Ongoing (Through Summer 2027)
Credentialing Timeline: ~60 Days (Requires fast paperwork turnaround for November starts)
Schedule & Shift Breakdown
- Primary Need: Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Volume: ~15 shifts per month needed on an ongoing basis (seeking 2–3 consistent providers)
- Coverage Type: Inpatient & Outpatient Hospital/Clinic (No Call)
- Priority November Shift Blocks:
- Nov 2 – Nov 8
- Nov 9 – Nov 15
- Nov 16 – Nov 22
- Nov 23 – Nov 29
Clinical Scope & Requirements
- Specialty Scope: Acute Care and Trauma Surgery coverage (Trauma-trained surgeons who can cover both Trauma and Acute Care are required)
- Shift Guarantee: 12 guaranteed hours per day
- Overtime: Applies after 12 hours worked per day
Qualifications & Licensing
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Trauma / Surgical Critical Care or General Surgery
- Licensure: Active Washington State Medical License or IMLC Compact License + Active DEA
- Certifications: Active ACLS and ATLS certifications
