  • Average patients per day: Clinic – 16, Outpatient endoscopy center – 14 -16, Hospital Census – varies
  • Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, Flex sig, dilation; general GI procedures.
  • Support staff?- working w/ other GI's as part of the practice 
  • License- Washington Licensed or IMLC only.
  • Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable) - BLS + ACLS
  • EMR- EPIC proficient user


  • Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs):
  • Applicant must provide documentation of provision of gastroenterology services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months (waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year).
  • AND If training to perform double balloon enteroscopy or capsule endoscopy occurred in the previous 2 years applicant must provide a description of supervised training on human subjects along with a letter from the supervising physician attesting to clinical competence as an independent operator. If training occurred greater than 2 years ago the applicant must provide documentation of ongoing clinical practice in each privilege requested. 

Schedule Details

  • START - ASAP
  • Schedule: ASC hours are 730a-430p;
  • Gastro clinic hours are 8am to 5pm;
  • If on call, call is 24-hours on weekends/evenings for hospital


CALL REQUIREMENT

  • 24-hour call (consulting, rounding, inpatient/outpatient GI procedures)
  • Call is not required, but preference is someone willing to do both clinic and call.
  • Please ensure that the presentation clearly states if a provider is open to call or not.
