Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

*MUST be BC or BE in Anesthesiology

*MUST be Anesthesiologist trained and able to perform Cardiac Anesthesiology

*TEE certification isn't required but highly recommended

*MUST PROVIDE NPDB self-query submitted at Presentation to review! Please have ready to send

*MUST be Anesthesiologist trained and able to perform Cardiac Anesthesiology

*MUST be willing to take call shifts in addition to the regular day shifts. Please indicate in presentation if they are willing to work call shifts.

*MUST be comfortable with all cases including: Cardiac OB, Peds & General Cases.

MUST specify on the presentation that candidate has had experience in the cardiac cases within the past two years and is competent and comfortable with full range of Cardiac cases including Bypass, TEE, open heart surgeries.

*9 MDs onsite

*Mostly directing CRNAs but hands-on might be required

*Will do basic ortho blocks - but may expand in the future

*Will usually work in supervision capacity (supervision of CRNAs 99% of time) but hands-on may be required as needed

*Approximately 330 c-sections per year

*On average 40 OR cases per day

*On average 30 GI cases per day

*On average 18 locations per day

*300 cardiac cases per year

*MUST be willing to take 24hr call shifts in addition to the regular day shifts.

*Board Eligible within 3 Years of Residency

*Highly prefer providers who have an active license, or IMLC letter in hand

Coverage Need Details: Need 2 total full-time equivalence, to start ASAP.

Day shifts

*M-F 6:30a; 9 hour shifts

In-house Call hours (1-2 a week):

*Weekdays: 7p – 7:30a

*Weekends: 7a – 7a (24 hours) – can be broken down into 12 hours shifts (7a – 7p) and (7p – 7a).

*In addition to the in-house call MD, there is a backup call MD.

Overnight shifts and weekend shifts available. Comfortable call room on site where provider can stay.
