Position: Locum Tenens General / Invasive Cardiologist
Location: Medford, OR
EMR: Epic
Start Date: January 1, 2027 (Ongoing Coverage)
Credentialing Timeline: ~90 Days
??Schedule & Shift Structure
- Workload Expectation: 7–14 shifts per month (1–2 weeks of coverage per month including 1–2 weekends; flexible dates)
- Weekday Hours (Mon–Fri):
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Onsite Clinic/Hospital coverage
- 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM: Weeknight Beeper Call
- Weekend Hours (Sat–Sun): 24-Hour Weekend Beeper Call
- Guaranteed Hours & OT: 8 guaranteed hours per day; Overtime applies after 9 hours worked per day
Clinical Scope & Procedural Workload
- Required Procedures/Skills: Heart Caths, TEEs, Stress Echos, Angiograms, and reading Diagnostic Echos, EKGs, and Stress Echos
- Preferred Skills: Nuclear Cardiology reads are preferred but not mandatory (onsite provider available for nuclear coverage)
Qualifications & Candidate Vetting
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiology required
- Licensure: Active Oregon State Medical License & Active DEA required
- Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Interview Process: Initial phone screening with the Lead Physician followed by a Microsoft Teams panel intervie.
