Requirements & Qualifications
- State License: Active New Mexico (NM) Medical License
- Controlled Substance: Active State DEA Registration
- Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC)
- Life Support Certifications:
- ACLS
- ATLS: Must be active/maintained if not ABEM board-certified; if ABEM certified, a historical/expired ATLS is acceptable.
- Insurance/Malpractice: Provider must be enrolled in the New Mexico Patients' Compensation Fund (PCF) for Certificate of Insurance (COI) compliance.
Credentialing & Onboarding Instructions
- Early Processing: Credentialing paperwork can be initiated prior to formal bid acceptance to accommodate the 120-day timeline. Providers must be fully credentialed and enrolled prior to working.
