Position: Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist

Location: Michigan

EMR: Cerner

Start Date: January 1, 2027 (Ongoing Coverage)

Credentialing Timeline: ~90 Days


?Schedule & Shift Coverage

  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
  • Call Coverage: Yes
  • Coverage Type: Daily Procedural + Diagnostic Coverage


Clinical Scope & Expectations

  • Vascular & Non-Vascular Procedures: Embolization (trauma, GI bleeds), angiograms, thrombolysis, IVC filter placements/removals, nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and abscess drainages.
  • Emergency Capabilities: Must be proficient in handling urgent/emergent trauma embolizations (e.g., splenic, hepatic, pelvic).
  • Diagnostic Reading: Preference given to providers who can read diagnostic imaging in between procedural cases.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) with active American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Michigan State Medical License and active DEA
  • Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
