Neurology Locum Opportunity in Kentucky

Medical Group Neurology & Neurosurgery -Neurology is in search Full Time or Part Time Physician (MD/DO) providers for Locum Tenens due to Provider On Vacation.-$

Start Date: As soon as credentialed-Ongoing

Schedule/Need: 16 Shifts Per Month

• 8a-4:30p, Orientation, No Call

Submission Requirements: ***Must meet ALL Submission Requirements in order to submit.***

1. KY or Compact License in hand preferred or date KY license was applied for: REQUIRED
2. Active Board Certification- ABPN: REQUIRED
3. Fellowship: Preferred
4. Epic Experience: REQUIRED
5. Active Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, DEA: REQUIRED

Position Details:

• Ability to manage common neurological conditions like headaches, seizures, stroke, peripheral neuropathy, and movement disorders. familiarity with diagnostic tests like EEGs and EMG is also crucial
• Experience in Diagnostic Testing is helpful: EEG, EMG, NCV, MRI, Evoked Potentials, Lumbar Punctures, tPA
• Required Procedures: No procedures required, if the provider would like to do any I could arrange them. Ex Botox or EMG
• Neuro Unit Details Hardin
• Rooms in Clinic: They will have 2 exam rooms
• Patients per day in Clinic: individually be determined by provider. Typically between 13 and 20  
• Will Locums be the sole provider: No t; One Doc and One APRN 
• Is there another support start for Locums: (if so what) We will have MA support staff.
