Radiology Locum Opportunity in Alabama

Hospital is looking for Radiology at AL.

These are the specific dates we need covered, please send candidates who can work all of these: 

-Oct dates are available 

-Nov 25- Dec 1

-Dec 21- Dec 27

-Dec 28 - Jan 3

-Sept 26, 1200 to 1700 

Specialty:Diagnostic Radiology 

Start Date: 2-4 week emergency privs 

Contract Length: 3 months up to 6 months with the option to extend 

Work Details:

• Hospital - onsite only for now but if you have a tele rad who can work ALL shifts let me know. 

• 125 on avg. depending on modality.  Avg 86 CT’s a day.  Avg 146 xrays a day.  u/s 24 patients per day.  MR about 20 per day.  These #’s are divided up among the Radiologists.     

• Weekend RVU's:  CT’s about 51 per weekend, 88, U/S 6. MR 6.  Typical peak times 9am – 5pm.

• Modalities:  no interventional radiology.  No intravascular procedures. 

• PACS system: Currently on Merge (will transfer to Phillips in October) 

Requirements:

• Board Certification:BC preferred

• State license required: open to licensing 

• Certifications required: Already be on a RAM license somewhere, preferably in the state of AL
