Job Description:

Emergency Medicine in Andalusia, AL where Inpatient Coverage is needed. Here are some of the details: 

Start Date: April 1st-Ongoing

Coverage Need/Schedule Details: 24 hours of physician coverage

• 7a-7p
• 7p-7a

• APP scheduled from 11a-9p daily

Submission Requirements:  

• Board Certification or Board Eligible-REQUIRED
• Active AL License Only will not accept any other license-REQUIRED
• Certifications: EM trained candidates will need ACLS, PALS & BLS;  Non-EM trained will need ATLS as well.-REQUIRED
• Supervision of APP’s-REQUIRED

Practice Description: 

• Admission rate - 8%
• Transfer rate - 2.5%
• AMA - 1.2%
• EMS arrivals - 12.5%
• APP’s available for support
• Patients Per Shift: 24-26
• Beds in department: 12
• EMR: Medhost
• Annual volume:18,774
• EMR: EPIC
