Clinical Scope & Expectations
- Patient Care Units: CVICU, ICU, Cardiac Step-Down, and hospital-wide coverage as needed
- Required Clinical Scope: Thoracic and Cardiovascular trained MD proficient in:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR) / Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
- Endovascular Grafting (TEVAR / EVAR)
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) interventions
- Pericardial Windows
Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgery
- Licensure: Active Tennessee State Medical License or active IMLC (Compact) license
- Certifications: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
