Position: Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist
EMR: Epic
Start Date: ASAP (Ongoing Coverage)
Credentialing Timeline: 45–120 Days
???Schedule, Shift Breakdown & Rate Structure
- Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-house clinic/hospital rounds) + Overnight Beeper Call
- Call Structure: Nightly call includes phone consults
- APRN/PA Support: An APRN/PA provides primary evening call coverage
- Shift Commitment: Preferred availability of one 7–10 day consecutive block per month (Priority given to candidates meeting this schedule)
Clinical Workload & Scope
- Daily Census: Average of ~11 patients combined across Pediatrics and the Nursery
- Admissions: Typical volume of 1–3 admissions per 24-hour shift
Qualifications & Candidate Requirements
- Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of post-training Pediatric Hospitalist experience required (New graduates will not be considered)
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in General Pediatrics / Pediatric Hospital Medicine
- Licensure: Active North Dakota State Medical License
- Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
