Geriatrics Locum Opportunity in Vermont

Schedule:

We are seeking a Physician to provide dedicated care in our nursing home setting. The preferred schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We are also open to considering a split schedule for two providers: Monday - Thursday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and Tuesday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

On-call duties are required, but hours are negotiable.

?Work Assignment & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a nursing home environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Admissions
• Discharges
• Acute Evaluations
• 30-Day Evaluations

Expected patient load is 8-12 patients per day. No procedures beyond the listed evaluations are required or anticipated.

Team & Support:

You will be working collaboratively with other MDs and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). There is additional support staff available. Locum providers will not be responsible for supervising APPs, though APPs may need to consult with the locum physician.

Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Certifications: BLS is required.
• Experience: Preference for Geriatric experience, however, not required. We will accept experience in lieu of a Geriatrics fellowship.

EMR System:

Proficiency with Point Click Care and EPIC EMR systems is required.
