We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a high-priority, short-term holiday weekend block just outside Madison, Wisconsin. The facility needs dedicated night shift coverage over the 4th of July weekend, with the option to expand into an ongoing monthly rotation (14–16 shifts per month) for the right provider.
Clinical Details & Facility Profile
- Target Shifts: Night shifts from Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5, 2026.
- Volume Matrix: The combined ED/Urgent Care setting averages 40–60 patients per 24-hour cycle.
- On-Site Specialty Support: Access to General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBGYN, and a highly collaborative Hospitalist team.
- Advanced Ancillary Support: Backed by on-site Telestroke and Tele-ICU networks, as well as a dedicated University of Wisconsin (UW) Med Flight helicopter stationed on campus.
- EMR: Epic.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) Medical License or active IMLC assignment-ready status.
- Life Support: Active ACLS and ATLS certifications are mandatory.
