We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide vital holiday block coverage in Ohio. This assignment captures the major winter holidays, combining structured daytime procedural hours on standard workdays with high-yield, 24-hour emergency call coverage during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

??Clinical Schedule & Holiday Breakdown

• Standard Weekday Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:15 PM (First day orientation begins at 7:00 AM).
• Standard Weeknight Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Weekend Call Profile: Minimal volume expected.
• Outpatient Clinic Status: The office is completely closed with zero outpatient elective scopes scheduled on Thanksgiving Day (November 26).

Critical 24-Hour Holiday Call Matrix

The provider must anchor continuous 24-hour emergency call coverage for the following specific holiday dates:

• Thanksgiving Block: November 26 & November 27
• Christmas Block: December 24, December 25, & December 26

Case Load & Procedures

Daily volume averages 12–15 scheduled procedures, plus potential acute inpatient add-ons. The clinical scope encompasses standard general GI care:

• General GI consults and cases
• EGD (including EGD with banding)
• Foreign body removal & dilations
• Colonoscopies
